Amelia and her four siblings were dropped off at a shelter down south, and NELR was happy to be contacted by rescue friends about the adorable group. We don’t think it was the most uplifting start to life, so they’re all a little shy and submissive, but very kind and want so badly to be happy, carefree pups! Amelia is so sweet but nervous of new things while she builds confidence in this new, positive life she’s getting used to. She’s  very submissive but doing well on leash and re-learning that it can be a positive experience. She really loves love and thrives on positive attention and kindness so we can’t wait to see her with a loving forever family that practices only positive reinforcement. She may be shy, but she is excited to learn all about the happy, pampered life of a New England dog/family member!

We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.

We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
