Aries arrived at a southern shelter as a stray; super sweet, happy, and friendly. As the week progressed, all the loud sounds and foreign smells of her new surroundings made her shy and withdrawn, which unfortunately moved her to the top of the euthanasia list. We thankfully have an amazing network of rescue friends in the south, constantly on the lookout for sweet souls like Aries that deserve a second chance but might not be able to show off their full potential in a stressful shelter. Aries was moved to a foster home where she was able to be herself again – and what a pup! She’s potty & crate trained, good on leash, and well-behaved for her foster mom. She gets on well with other dogs, but most of all looooves time with her human friends to give and receive positive attention and affection. We have not tested her around small children, but her foster feels that she would do ok with kids given her gentle disposition. We’re so excited for this sweetie to start her happily ever after up here in dog-pampering New England!

All of our available adoptable dogs are on Facebook, Petfinder, and our website. If a dog is no longer listed it means they have an adoption pending.
We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.
We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
