Artie was rescued at about 6 months old and was kept in foster care down south. Unfortunately, adoptions there are at a near standstill while more and more pets end up at kill shelters every day, so our rescue friends reached out to see if we could help him find a loving home up here in New England. He was found to be lightly heartworm positive when he was getting his routine vetting, so he went through HW treatment during his stay down south. He was a lovely houseguest but is all done, feeling great, and is ready to find his happily ever after in New Hampshire or Vermont (*due to certain state regulations regarding transport of recently HW+ animals)! Handsome Artie is good with other dogs, cats, and… even chickens! He aced his potty & crate training while in foster care, and is good on leash and during car rides. He’s ready to find a family he can love this second chance at life with!

All of our available adoptable dogs are on Facebook, Petfinder, and our website. If a dog is no longer listed it means they have an adoption pending.

We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.

We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
