Augustin and his siblings were born to a lab mix mom and purebred dad, but they are need of homes of their own so NELR is excited to help find them their magical Disney happily ever-afters. Augustin is a cute, chunky pup that’s full of the typical puppy curiosity, playfulness, cuddles, and learning. He’s been fed well (and loves food!), and socialized to people, dogs and cats since birth. He is young and will need to be neutered when age appropriate. He is settling into his northern foster home well and his foster says, "This boy plays hard, sleeps hard and snores hard!! He is showing more of his goofy personality. He is learning how to sit, potty outside and play nicely with his brothers. He has taken to crate training like a champ! Last night he settled quickly with no whining. He loves playing with his foster brothers, whether it’s chasing a ball, chewing on a bone or just jumping all over them. He is learning how to walk on a leash - he does way better than his 18 month old 85 lb foster brother! He is sweet, cuddly, loves giving kisses and will be the perfect addition for a lucky family." Our fosters do a wonderful job of introducing our puppies to crates and potty training, but continued bonding over training skills with their forever family is a great way to show your little pupper what life in your house is all about, as well as open good communication with your new family member ❤️
ATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS: We strongly advise positive reinforcement training/behavior classes with your new pup. Training is for the benefit of you and your puppy and will help you build a stronger relationship. Puppies do not know what they haven’t been taught and some “puppy proofing” may need to be done in your home. Please remember that little puppies come in little bodies that need potty breaks every few hours.

All of our available adoptable dogs are on Facebook, Petfinder, and our website. If a dog is no longer listed it means they have an adoption pending.
We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.
We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
