Bagel had a family that loved her very much, but due to a number of health and housing issues, they would like our assistance in finding Bagel a home that’s better suited for a large pup her age. Bagel also needed help to get two smaller surgeries done, one to fix her entropion eyelids (where the lids roll inward and the lashes irritate the eyeball, causing discomfort and weepy eyes), and a vaginal surgery to correct an issue from her spay. She’s had help to receive both, has recovered well, and is feeling great! According to our source, her parents were a Lab/Husky mix and a Labradoodle, so it makes sense that she’s a sweet girl that loves to play. She’s good with kids, but she’s young and could use some some formal training for basics like playful jumping and leash pulling, so we’d recommend bigger kiddos for now. She’s very affectionate and loves to cuddle up with you. Bagel is good in the car, making her a great copilot. Her family’s hopes are for her to find a loving home that will show her lots of play, adventures, and activities (as well as plenty of hugs and cuddles!) that a young pup would love!
Her foster gave this great update, "She’s a great girl. Up for adventures or just to snuggle. Good in her crate, riding in the car or doing zoomies in the yard or going for a walk. Good in the car. Kind with children and cats."

All of our available adoptable dogs are on Facebook, Petfinder, and our website. If a dog is no longer listed it means they have an adoption pending.
We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.
We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
