Benny was found as a stray down south, wandering from house to house in search of food. Our rescue friends got wind of him and contacted NELR to help and we were happy to. He’s done well in foster care, without potty accidents and using a crate just fine. He loves playtime and would be excited to join you for any fun, hiking, or adventures. He also loves cuddle time and thinks all this positive attention and care is great! He loves other dogs and is good around dog-savvy cats that don’t mind playful pups. He’s good with kiddos but we’d recommend older/bigger kids. He is very treat- and praise-motivated for training. He cannot wait to feel like part of the family!

We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.

We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
