Poor Boomer was dumped at a rural shelter down south after a family divorce. He was on the euthanasia list because of how full these shelters are, and our wonderful rescue friends stepped in to foster and get him the vetting that had clearly been ignored by his humans. He needed neutering, heartworm treatment, and had a small bump excised (that was benign). He is now feeling great and definitely loves all the positive attention and care he’s been getting! Since he’s completed his heartworm treatment, which is given over several weeks while a dog rests, he’s ready to find his loving forever home in New Hampshire or Vermont (*due to some state’s regulations regarding transport of recently heartworm positive animals). This handsome boy is full of life and love! He’s very well-mannered, knows some basic cues, and is potty & crate trained. He plays well with other dogs and loves his human friends. Getting to cuddle up with his foster on the comfy furniture for some affection has been such a delight! He’s super sweet and a joy to have around!

All of our available adoptable dogs are on Facebook, Petfinder, and our website. If a dog is no longer listed it means they have an adoption pending.
We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.
We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
