Cranberry is a sweet, happy girl who was picked up as a stray by animal control and came to NELR through our rescue friends’ networking. Cranberry can initially be a little shy around people after all these big changes in her lie, but is very treat- and play-motivated. Give her a squeak toy and she’ll grin with excitement and bring it back to you to throw. Cranberry has been working hard on her leash skills; it was completely foreign to her at first but she is definitely getting used to it. Her favorites are playtime and treats - if you provide this short rider list you will have yourself a superstar best friend! Cranberry hasn’t met kids yet but is friendly overall. She would do well with a playful dog sibling in the home to be goofy with.

We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.

We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
