Denver was found as a stray down south and was running out of time at an overfull kill shelter, so we are happy to get him up to New England, home of pampered fur-babies! He’s a happy, playful boy that can't wait to feel the security of a permanent family and home. He does prefer to eat away from other critters to feel safe, which is common in dogs that have been stray or have had to search for food, and is an easy enough request for us humans. He will “talk” with you when you feel like having a bit of convo, but is quiet otherwise. He’s been around kids 10+ years-old and done well with them, and likes other dogs. He would love a family that is around more often than not, to soak up all the love he's been missing out on. He’s excited to be home for the holidays - forever home!

We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.

We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
