Grand Soldador flew all the way from Puerto Rico to find his happily ever after (and boy, are his arms tired 😄). Grand and his littermates were found abandoned as strays, something common in Puerto Rico, where lack of spaying/neutering for a streak of years has lead to a huge influx of dogs lacking homes, so like many US rescues, we have pledged to help when possible. Thankfully there are many amazing rescue friends over there who took good care of these little sweeties, giving them love and vetting to prep for their big trip to New England! Grand has been settling in well over here and is doing great with potty & crate training. He gets along well with dogs and kids, and enjoys attention and toys. He’s a friendly, sweet, curious pup that is excited to find a forever family! He loves to play/eat/nap/repeat, like any good little puppy. He is young and will need to be neutered when age-appropriate. Continued bonding over training skills with a forever family is a great way to show your little pupper what life in your house is all about, as well as open good communication with your new family member ❤️
ATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS: We strongly advise positive reinforcement training/behavior classes with your new pup. Training is for the benefit of you and your puppy and will help you build a stronger relationship. Puppies do not know what they haven’t been taught and some “puppy proofing” may need to be done in your home. Please remember that little puppies come in little bodies that need potty breaks every few hours.

All of our available adoptable dogs are on Facebook, Petfinder, and our website. If a dog is no longer listed it means they have an adoption pending.
We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.
We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
