Ham and Chuck are two healthy, happy puppies that were left at an over-capacity, southern shelter, having no idea they were so close to euthanasia before life even really began. They also had no idea how many volunteers scrambled to save them as their clock was ticking. We’re thankful for their safety (and for our rescue network friends!) so they can continue on being joyful, fun-loving pups, further having no idea how much their happiness pays it forward to all the people they greet with wagging tails and puppy kisses ❤️ Ham is content living that carefree puppy life; loving to play, nap, eat, and cuddle. He has the cutest little hint of white speckling on his legs! He has been winning everyone over at his foster, included the senior dog and the cat, and he's also been doing well learning a potty schedule. He is young and will need to be neutered when age-appropriate. Continued bonding over training skills with a forever family is a great way to show your little pupper what life in your house is all about, as well as open good communication with your new family member  ❤️

ATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS: We strongly advise positive reinforcement training/behavior classes with your new pup. Training is for the benefit of you and your puppy and will help you build a stronger relationship. Puppies do not know what they haven’t been taught and some “puppy proofing” may need to be done in your home. Please remember that little puppies come in little bodies that need potty breaks every few hours.

All of our available adoptable dogs are on Facebook, Petfinder, and our website. If a dog is no longer listed it means they have an adoption pending.

We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.

We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
