Howie was in a full shelter down south and was such a staff favorite that they reached out to get him into a rescue to be better seen for adoption and avoid the euthanasia list (due to the high-intakes in southern shelters). He’s a super sweet, social, and playful boy that knows some basic cues and is potty & crate trained. He can be a little shy at first, but after so many big changes, that’s understandable! He blossoms into his sweet, lovely self after he settles and loves hanging out with all his favorite people and critters. He’s good with other dogs, and good with cats, too! He’s also good on leash, and loves toys and puzzles. He’s going to make an amazing family member and best friend!
