Jack and his pal Jill were found roaming the sweltering Texas streets in search of shelter and food. What they found was a kind person that opened their car door to them and they jumped right in - smart pups! The finder fostered them and NELR was connected through our rescue friends so we could bring these two up to New England to find loving, pampering homes! They are not bonded, just super dog-friendly and happy to play. Jack is an easy-going, smiley, young boy who is described as a “gentle giant” and loves to go with the flow. His foster can’t believe how gentle this sweet boy is for his size. He loves humans of all ages and is so excited to be on this side of his rescue journey! He’s sure to bring happiness everywhere he goes.

We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.

We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
