Jefe had the familiar story of being in an overfull shelter in the South, where they are overrun with strays and have a lack of adopters, so it’s hard for even the best pup to get adopted. His “time was up” but thankfully one of our rescue friends took him home to foster so he could be spared and make the trek up to fur-baby-loving New England! Jefe is such a handsome, happy, and smart Good Boy! He’s got a great personality, knows several basic cues, listens well, and has a great smile! He looooves toys and has a great time collecting them all. He gets along well with dogs and kiddos (but we’d recommend slightly older/bigger kids). Jefe is really enjoying this new chapter of his life and would love a home where he can accompany his forever family more often than not, whether it's about the home, out for adventures, or going for walks. He’s an exuberant boy that loves life and can’t wait to experience lots of adventures and make memories with a loving forever family.

We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.

We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
