Joe is a 1 year old boy with lots of love to give. He can be shy and timid while he gets used to new surroundings but after a few short days and he is the most playful and happy dog! He’s great on leash and really enjoys getting out for a jaunt with his humans. He previously had to have FHO surgery after being hit by a car, (which made him timid) but he has made a wonderful comeback with great comfort, mobility, and confidence! He’s all good and ready to enjoy his walks and swimmies with you. Oh yeah - he  absolutely LOVES swimming! Kiddie pool, beach, anything he can splash about in is the best! He is wonderful around other dogs and humans. As much as he loves to play, he is also content to sit with his people. He’s known for being incredibly handsome, but he also has a beautiful personality to match - what a gem!

We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.

We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
