Sweet Joy had less than 1hr remaining before euthanasia, she was so sweet and the shelter was trying desperately to find a safe place for her to land. We’re so happy we were connected to this darling little lady with the sweetest disposition. Once in our care, she was found to be heartworm positive during her routine vetting, so she went through HW treatment during her foster stay down south. She was a lovely houseguest but is all done, feeling great, and is ready to find her happily ever after in New Hampshire or Vermont (*due to certain state regulations regarding transport of recently HW+ animals). Joy is a gentle, affectionate girl and is doing great in a home environment, loving the companionship of humans and fellow dogs. Her wants are simple – to be loved! She is a huge sweetheart, and we know she will fill some lucky adopter’s home with love.

We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.

We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
