Laverne and Shirley were found as strays, fending for themselves in the woods while surviving on deer feeders to keep them alive. They were both heartworm-positive, had severe ear infections, and were suffering with fleas and parasites. Despite it all, they were so lovely, friendly, and trusting to the kind humans who finally found and helped them. They went to a southern foster home where they got all the vetting they needed to be healthy, comfortable, and are even testing heartworm-negative after completing their treatments and recovery time. They are doing great, spayed, up-to-date on everything, testing negative, and are feeling absolutely amazing after clearing all that up! All that’s left is to find these two a loving home together so they can shine as the friendly, sweet girls they are.
They’re both potty & crate trained, good on leash, enjoy playing with other dogs, are great with kiddos, and pay no mind to cats. They love playing fetch and being petted and loved on. Shirley, in particular, loves a car ride! They are eager to please and have a lot of love to share. Laverne & Shirley are lovely girls that will make excellent additions to some lucky family ❤️

All of our available adoptable dogs are on Facebook, Petfinder, and our website. If a dog is no longer listed it means they have an adoption pending.
We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.
We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
