Luke is a big handsome boy that was rescued from Texas. He’s been settling into his New England foster home well and has been excited to explore all the best snuggle spots. He’s a good, gentle boy that’s potty trained, ignores the cat, is good with kids, and gets along with other dogs. He would probably benefit from a dog sibling in his future home to help him build confidence. He’s still a little nervous from all the big changes in his life recently, but he’s as sweet as can be. He seems most shy around large men, so he’d appreciate females and smaller males while he builds his confidence. 

 

*During his routine vetting, he was found to be heartworm-positive, so he stayed down south for a bit to go through his treatment, but now he’s all done, feeling great and is ready to find his loving forever home in New Hampshire, Vermont, or Maine (due to some state’s regulations regarding transport of recently heartworm positive animals).

We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.

We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
