Otis is part of the Rio Grande litter that was sadly found orphaned in Rio Grande Valley, TX. Luckily a kind human found and helped them and was connected with NELR to find them forever homes in beautiful New England. They are typical happy puppies that are full of life and enjoy every day! They love to play and get along with everyone. They’ve also gotten used to car rides and enjoy all the adorable puppy snuggling and playing that you could hope for. Otis is young and will need to be neutered when age appropriate. Our fosters do a wonderful job of introducing our puppies to crates and potty training, but continued bonding over training skills with their forever family is a great way to show your little pupper what life in your house is all about, as well as open good communication with your new family member ❤

ATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS: We strongly advise positive reinforcement training/behavior classes with your new pup. Training is for the benefit of you and your puppy and will help you build a stronger relationship. Puppies do not know what they haven’t been taught and some “puppy proofing” may need to be done in your home. Please remember that little puppies come in little bodies that need potty breaks every few hours.

All of our available adoptable dogs are on Facebook, Petfinder, and our website. If a dog is no longer listed it means they have an adoption pending.

We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.

We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
