Sweet Panda and her siblings had a sad start to life but are excited for this second chance at a happily ever-after. They spent their early years in crates out in a barn with little care and less love. It took a “rescue village” to get them out but thankfully we have some amazing rescue friends who work tirelessly to spare valuable lives like these, that deserve a chance to feel comfort, love, and care. Panda and her siblings are SO sweet and have been adjusting well to being spoiled and loved on - we love to see it!!

Panda has been busy enjoying good food, cuddles on the couch, and has been quickly picking up all the basics of cushy home living. She was extremely thin but has been safely, steadily gaining weight with good nutrition. She understands some basic cues, walks well on a leash, enjoys car rides, and is attentive and responsive to the lovely humans she's fostering with. You'd never know she had a sad start from her super friendly demeanor, she loves meeting new people– or friends– she hasn't met a stranger! She always enjoys getting positive attention and showing off what a sweetie she is. Panda loves giving kisses but is always gentle and has been a kind little helper at the elder care facility her foster works at. She was also a special greeter at the facility when a Girl Scout troop visited (so many pats to be had that day!). She's been enjoying a mellow life and would be happy to soak up the love as an only-dog or with another easy-going or older dog (mellow), and she is good with kiddos. Her days have been filled with friends, snuggles, a good chew toy, and getting to watch the pretty leaves blow by - such simple things are plenty enough when you have love! She would be so grateful and appreciative for a loving family she can cuddle up and share mutual adoration with ❤️

We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.

We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
