Penelope and her siblings were found as strays, starving and covered in fleas. The amazing network of rescue friends in the area picked them up and did what they do best, got them vetting, food, love, and found a safe rescue to help find them forever homes. Penelope has been settling into her northern foster home well and is trustworthy in the house. She’s a happy, loving, curious, and sensitive girl that’s playful with other dogs and was good with cats and kids at her southern foster home. She’s really been loving all this positive attention and thinks cuddles and hugs are just the best! She’d love a home with family around a lot, to soak up all that love she’s missed out on so far. She’s so appreciative of this positive change in her life and we can’t wait to see her thrive in a family of her own!

We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.

We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
