Where for art thou, Romeo?? This lover-boy just landed in beautiful New England in time to explore green trails and sparkling waters! Our southern rescue friends discovered him at a local trash dump site and brought him to safety. Once it was determined no one was looking for him, they got him all vetted and comfy so he could make his journey up to join NELR. Romeo is smart, learns quickly, and has a good base of basic skills, like potty & crate training, as well as sit/wait/drop-it cues. He’s a good mix of calm and playful with a fun touch of goofiness for laughs. He enjoys other dogs and likes to engage in playtime with them. He loves water and would be a great beach or river buddy 🥰 He also thinks birds are fun to chase as they fly away, so probably best to not have Capulet chicken rivals at home. Romeo also does well on leash and loves toys of all kinds. He’s very friendly, affectionate, and can’t wait to be a beloved family member and best friend!
