Wolfie is an extremely sweet, handsome boy that would love the security of a forever home in beautiful New England. He’s needed a little time to decompress from all the big changes in his life, and he’s still pretty shy, but every day he’s been getting a little bit braver. He’s very submissive but he’s friendly with everyone. He loves to be petted and will sweetly request you keep going if you dare stop 😄 Wolfie has been enjoying a fenced yard to be able to sniff around and have the occasional zoomie, and walks in the woods have been a favorite for him. He’s also been enjoying cuddling up with his favorite people on the couch. He seems fairly athletic and may enjoy bonding and gaining confidence over something like agility classes with his special person/people. He is a gentle soul that would appreciate an older, calmer household (he’s sweet, but young kids may be too loud and chaotic for his gentle demeanor). He might also benefit from a confident but easy-going dog sibling. Wolfie would love to be a hiking companion, he’s good on leash, loves the outdoors, and makes for comforting company! It may take a while for him to feel confident or truly settled into all the comforts and niceties of your home, but we think he will continue to blossom beautifully as he realizes it’s *his* home too. Every wag and smile will be extra special with this darling boy!

All of our available adoptable dogs are on Facebook, Petfinder, and our website. If a dog is no longer listed it means they have an adoption pending.

We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.

We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
