Adoptable Alfie and his sister (Ariel, not bonded) were not getting seen in the overcrowded shelters down South, so NELR’s southern rescue friends connected us and we are happy to find them loving homes up here in New England. Alfie is doing great in his foster home, his foster says, he “is settling in nicely. So snuggly! So sweet!” He’s potty trained, doing well with crate training, and is learning all about leash walking. He’s been great with other dogs and with kiddos (as long as they’re old enough to handle wiggly, playful puppies), and is very cuddly and sweet with his humans. He loves toys and would enjoy a family that likes to spend time playing with him or going on adventures together. He’s ready for his forever family!

We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
