Angie is a sweet girl from our rescue friends down South. She spent a long time waiting at an outdoor shelter and was facing euthanasia after a change of ownership (and no fault of her own). Our rescue friends saw hope in this wonderful gal and wanted to give her a chance at a happily ever after and NELR is happy to be a part of it! After getting into foster care she was found to be heartworm-positive during her routine vetting, so she stayed down south for a bit to go through her treatment, but now she’s all done, feeling great and is ready to find her loving forever home in New Hampshire, Vermont, or Maine (*due to some state’s regulations regarding transport of recently heartworm-positive animals). She’s a lovely young lady that is so excited to be part of a loving family! Angie is good on leash and is already potty & crate trained. She can be a little shy at first and would love a dog sibling her home for comforting companionship and to help her feel confident. She also would love to be part of a family that is around a lot and/or includes her in their adventures to make up for lost time. She's ready for the sweet life!

All of our available adoptable dogs are on our website. If a dog is no longer listed on the Adoptable Dogs page, it means they have an adoption pending.
We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.
We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
