Adoptable Boots is so excited to get to come up from the overcrowded shelters down south to find a forever family! She’s doing really well settling into her New England foster home and has already been a champ for the bath, has been taking the resident dog’s lead, and has become acquainted with the toy bin. She’s super snuggly, loves to play, and likes to show off her cute zoomies every so often to share her happiness with you! She’s very treat-motivated and has been using that to work on her crate training and practicing putting on a harness, which are both coming along well. She’s potty trained, has been a good girl in the house, and is loving all the positive attention. She’s playful and friendly with other dogs and might do well learning from a canine sibling, but also would be just fine as a single dog to soak up all the lovies and pampering. Her foster describes her as a sweetheart and a love bug!

We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
