Buster was found as a stray and our wonderful southern rescue advocate friends connected him to NELR so we could find him a loving happily ever-after! He’s a happy, friendly boy that really loves being around his people. He'd do well in a home with family and a dog sibling (or few!) that are around a lot because he loves love! He's been excited to romp in this new snow stuff and has a great time playing with the resident dog friends in his foster home, but he's also a chill boy that appreciates time to relax, too - just a well-rounded guy! He seems to know some basics like sit/shake/come, is potty & crate trained, good on leash, and is a trustworthy boy in the house. He can’t wait to bring warmth and joy to his very own family!

We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.

We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
