Calypso is a sweet girl that was an excellent mama to a litter of puppies while she was in a shelter down South, but they are all off on their own adventures and she has come north to New England to find her happily ever-after as someone’s baby! She’s now spayed and has recovered from painful mastitis (inflammation of mammary glands, caused by bacterial infection from nursing), which is thankfully treatable so she is back to feeling great. She was a loving mom, despite her discomfort, and we are so happy she’s doing well and can now thrive as a pampered family member the way she deserves! She’s a friendly girl that enjoys playing with other dogs and is unbothered by kitties. She’s been having a great time exploring all different types of toys, especially fun chews. She’s an easy-going girl but would benefit from positive reinforcement training since she can’t know what she hasn’t been taught, but that’s also a great way to bond and develop excellent communication with your new family member ❤️ We’re so excited for her to start a new chapter full of love, adventures, playtime, and family!

All of our available adoptable dogs are on our website. If a dog is no longer listed on the Adoptable Dogs page, it means they have an adoption pending.

We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.

We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
