Deacon is a sweet, handsome pup that was living without housing down south before coming to NELR. He was loved, but his mom could no longer care for him and sought help to find him a safe home so he could thrive. He’s been doing great in foster care and is potty & crate trained, signaling to go out and treating his crate like a bedroom. He is a happy boy that loves getting treats and doling out cuddles and kisses. He’s been working on his leash walking skills, as most excited puppies do, and getting braver about this new world he’s discovering as he did not have much exposure previously. He’s a playful puppy and loves toys and getting to be goofy with other friendly dogs. He’s friendly, good on car rides, and loves an adventure or long walk. He’s going to be fun to watch learn and grow with some lucky family! ​​

We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.

We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
