Beautiful Emerald is a real gem! She has been a part of a loving family and is well-cared for, but dynamics between the resident dogs have made it necessary for a change and we are happy to help ease her family's mind and find her a trusted, loving home. She is potty & crate trained, walks well on leash, likes rides in the car, is good with children, and is good with friendly dogs. She's an easy-going girl that just wants to be your bestie! She eats nutritious food and has been kept up-to-date on her vetting, however she is on daily hormone pills (Proin 50mg and Incurin 1mg) due to fluctuations. She had her spay surgery at 6 months, but retained ovarian tissue that required a second surgery to remove. While she no longer goes into heat, her owner suspects a small amount of tissue may remain that has caused slight hormone fluctuations. Unfortunately her canine siblings detect this and it has resulted in some aggression towards her which is not something they want her to have to deal with in her own home. Although she's friendly with other dogs, we think it would be nice and stress-free for her to go to a home without other dog siblings so she can relax and soak up all the love. She is a very sweet girl that just wants to love and be loved in a setting as peaceful as she is 🤎

All of our available adoptable dogs are on Facebook, Petfinder, and our website. If a dog is no longer listed it means they have an adoption pending.

We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.

We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
