Frodo was a favorite down at the southern shelter, but it’s so overcrowded that he still didn’t stand much of a chance of finding a home before his time ran out do to space. He’s a great mix of active outside and chill inside, providing a great mix of playtime laughter and affectionate cuddles! He’s so excited to meet other dogs and wants to play, but he will need a little work on calmer intros in case he meets a dog that does not want to engage. He’s good with cats, but can be playful so it would be better if they were dog-savvy cats that will understand him. He would be great for a person or family that likes to get outside and enjoy the beautiful New England hikes and swimming holes. He’s a really fun pup that’s got lots of love to share. He can’t wait to be the loyal hero in your life’s story!

We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.

We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
