Oreo has just arrived from the south after being spared from an overfull shelter. He’s settling into his New England foster home well, and is busy learning, playing, and being pampered. He does well with other dogs and enjoys playtime, and he’s been good about ignoring the resident cat, too. He loves chew toys and would love a home with a full toy bin! Since he can’t know what he hasn’t had a chance to be taught, he’s working on some basics like leash walking, but he’s doing great with pottying in the right spots and is picking things up quickly. Continued bonding over training skills with a forever family is a great way to show your little pupper what life in your forever home is all about, as well as open good communication with your new family member.
ATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS: We strongly advise positive reinforcement training/behavior classes with your new pup. Training is for the benefit of you and your puppy and will help you build a stronger relationship. Puppies do not know what they haven’t been taught and some “puppy proofing” may need to be done in your home. Please remember that little puppies come in little bodies that need potty breaks every few hours.

All of our available adoptable dogs are on our website. If a dog is no longer listed on the Adoptable Dogs page, it means they have an adoption pending.
We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.
We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
