Bowie is a super sweet young boy that was left behind when his owners moved. Sadly, this kind of situation happens more than you’d think, but we’re always thankful for kind neighbors that notice when a dog is left in a yard or tied to a tree to fend for themselves. These good people began to provide food and water until they got in touch with our amazing rescue friends who took him into foster care. Bowie was cleared as abandoned so he could come up here to New England, but that just means his happily ever after is ready to begin! He is so sweet and easy-going, has good house manners, and already knows some basics like ‘sit.’ He’s very loving, enjoys hugs and kisses, and is a bit of an “old soul” for such a young pup. He’s decent on leash, good with other dogs, and great with kids. Bowie does like to get playful with toys and loves a good chew bone! He would really love the security of a caring forever family that he can spend lots of time with and feel like a beloved member.

We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.

We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
