Goose was one of several strays down south that, despite just trying to survive and not hurting anyone/anything, were being shot at by humans. Fortunately, he wasn't hurt, and a kind woman took him in and we are so grateful! He’s learned some basic cues, sleeps through the night in his crate, hasn’t had any potty accidents, and is doing well with leash training. He loves human attention and affection! He also loves to play and gets along well with other dogs. He doesn’t like sharing a crate with other dogs, it’s his own little safe space, but that’s easy enough to avoid. He has settled right into his northern foster home as calmly as can be. Goose loves using his nose for enrichment and would be delighted with a nose-work "job" or to do fun puzzles and "find it" games. He does great riding in the car and loves to go for hikes or trail runs. He would be so happy with a rural home where he can get out in the woods with his human bestie every day. He’s a great pup and will make a lovely, loving addition to some lucky family!

All of our available adoptable dogs are on Facebook, Petfinder, and our website. If a dog is no longer listed it means they have an adoption pending.

We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.

We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
