Dixie and Gunner are a gorgeous, bonded pair of siblings that are from a well-loved home. Unfortunately their one human keeps nurse hours and doesn’t feel they get a fair enough amount of attention, so they’re looking to find a loving home where these two can stay together and gets lots of love. They’re used to home life, are potty trained and like an open crate for naps. They know some other basics, like sit, too! They love to play together in a fenced yard to get their young-dog sillies out, and if you’ve ever experienced the joy doggy playtime, you know it’s great fun to watch or join in! They’re friendly with kids but are two big, young dogs so older/bigger kids are probably best spatially :) They do pull a bit on leash (not uncommon when walking more than one lab!) but they would love to be able to go on adventures with their humans. Dixie is very cuddly and affectionate, and loves to give kisses. She also loves to sleep in bed with her human if given the opportunity. Dixie's fur is a bit lighter and she has a spot of brown on her snout. Gunner likes to sprawl out on the floor, and loves to carry around toys. They provide excellent companionship to each other and their humans, and are going to add so much warmth to a lucky home!

What’s better than one dog? TWO! Fill out an adoption application today!

All of our available adoptable dogs are on Facebook, Petfinder, and our website. If a dog is no longer listed it means they have an adoption pending.

We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.

We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
