You may recognize this adorable litter from Mama Whiskey Mae and her “puppy shower” that so many of you kindly donated to (thank you!) ❤️ Whiskey and the southern foster did a great job getting these babies ready for the trip north and now they’re here in wonderful New England to find their forever families!
Mama Whiskey Mae and the neighboring dog were both intact and ended up with a bit of a surprise one day - ok, a fairly large litter of surprises! Whiskey’s owner then faced a tough situation when their landlord demanded all puppies and Whiskey be removed within 24 hours. With no other options, mama and babies were headed for the shelter—that was already overflowing. That meant these little ones would be an “owner surrender,” which means they had the shortest window to be adopted in such an already busy shelter (strays have a slightly longer hold period before ending up on the euthanasia list in case an owner can be found). Thankfully one of our amazing southern foster friends stepped up to help save all these lives and rearrange her home at a moment’s notice to keep them safe and with Whiskey to nurse and learn!
Bailey is all the typical, adorable things you’d want in a puppy; playful, affectionate, and full of cuddles, napping, eating, and playing. She’s been doing great in her foster home and is loving all the fun and attention! She is young and will need to be spayed when age-appropriate. Continued bonding over training skills with a forever family is a great way to show your little pupper what life in your house is all about, as well as open good communication with your new family member ❤️
ATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS: We strongly advise positive reinforcement training/behavior classes with your new pup. Training is for the benefit of you and your puppy and will help you build a stronger relationship. Puppies do not know what they haven’t been taught and some “puppy proofing” may need to be done in your home. Please remember that little puppies come in little bodies that need potty breaks every few hours.

All of our available adoptable dogs are on Facebook, Petfinder, and our website. If a dog is no longer listed it means they have an adoption pending.
We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.
We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
