Trixie was found on the same property down south as a previously rescued litter. Thankfully our amazing rescue friends stepped in and got her into a safe foster home where she absolutely thrived! Trixie is a sweet, adaptable girl that is great with other dogs, gentle with kids, and completely unbothered by cats. She’s doing great in a busy home setting, and is doing wonderfully with her potty training. She is on a regular, frequent schedule, but most of the time, she’ll let you know when she needs to go outside.
She does fine in both a penned area and crate for overnight or when the family is all out of the house. She’s very flexible and easy-going, just taking in life one day at a time with a smile and a snuggle! She’s a bit shy around unfamiliar dogs when it comes to walks, but a little gentle encouragement helps her move forward. She walks pretty well on a leash, though, like any pup, she gets distracted by all the exciting smells and sights. Her quiet nature gives way to a playful, affectionate puppy who loves being part of the family! She’s the kind of pup who doesn’t demand the spotlight, but quietly earns your heart. Give her some time and patience; she’ll reward you with unwavering loyalty, sweet tail wags, and a gentle spirit that lights up your home. She is young and will need to be spayed when age-appropriate. Continued bonding over training skills with a forever family is a great way to show your little pupper what life in your house is all about, as well as open good communication with your new family member ❤️
ATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS: We strongly advise positive reinforcement training/behavior classes with your new pup. Training is for the benefit of you and your puppy and will help you build a stronger relationship. Puppies do not know what they haven’t been taught and some “puppy proofing” may need to be done in your home. Please remember that little puppies come in little bodies that need potty breaks every few hours.

All of our available adoptable dogs are on Facebook, Petfinder, and our website. If a dog is no longer listed it means they have an adoption pending.
We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.
We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
