Dannah and her siblings in “The D Litter” started their rescue story in the Georgia countryside. A veterinary clinic manager spotted a litter roaming a dirt road and reached out to NELR, asking if we could help. We committed right away and sent one of our amazing volunteers to bring them into foster care and safety. Each pup has a unique personality and different needs, but all four have been affectionate, eager to learn, and easy to love! Dannah loves to play and be a silly puppy, especially with other dogs. She also loves human company, sticks close-by, and loves giving and receiving affection. She’s a sweet-natured little girl that was recently spayed and is doing great with her leash skills. Continued bonding over training skills with a forever family is a great way to show your little pupper what life in your house is all about, as well as open good communication with your new family member ❤️
ATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS: We strongly advise positive reinforcement training/behavior classes with your new pup. Training is for the benefit of you and your puppy and will help you build a stronger relationship. Puppies do not know what they haven’t been taught and some “puppy proofing” may need to be done in your home. Please remember that little puppies come in little bodies that need potty breaks every few hours.

All of our available adoptable dogs are on Facebook, Petfinder, and our website. If a dog is no longer listed it means they have an adoption pending.
We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.
We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
