Jacque was found as a stray down south by animal control, and the shelter staff quickly noted his sweet and loving nature. Jacque is a friendly pup who enjoys other dogs and loves a good play session. He's decent on leash and is already showing signs of being easy to train, especially since he’s food-motivated and eager to please. He’s a little shy when he first meets people, but once he knows he’s safe and amongst friends his walls come down and he quickly leans into the affection, becoming a total cuddle bug! He’s good around cats but they can make him nervous, so he'd need a friendly kitty and very slow intro. He'd be content in a home with or without a nice dog sibling, but would most likely adjust faster with one to take cues from. Jacque is a sweet soul that would be most comfortable in a quieter, easy-going home. He's been absolutely loving having comfy spots to nap and roll around, and will be such a good cuddle buddy! He's a total sweetie-pie and will be fun to spoil and watch blossom in the safety and love of a forever family.

All of our available adoptable dogs are on Facebook, Petfinder, and our website. If a dog is no longer listed it means they have an adoption pending.
We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.
We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
